Lampit

Lampit (ceremonial mat), laced split rattan with burnt design of four moons at the corners and a central moon with two 'ships of the dead' above and below. Flying birds, two animals and a border of foliage.

Original condition with some old damage.  Mounted on a fabric covered stretcher.
